Jean-Eric Vergne 'amused' by Brendon Hartley's Toro Rosso call-up

Jean-Eric Vergne has said he finds Toro Ross's decision to call up Brendon Hartley 'amusing' after the New Zealander was previously dumped by Red Bull to make way for Vergne. in 2010, Hartley who was backed by Red Bull at Tech 1 Racing in the World Series by Renault, was dumped by the energy drinks company mid-way through the season and replaced by Vergne. Vergne was then promoted to Formula 1 with Toro Rosso in 2012, but he too was dumped after three seasons. Meanwhile Hartley was recently recalled by Red Bull and is now a full-time driver.
