Arjun Maini secures second season as Haas development driver

Young Indian driver Arjun Maini has secured a second season with Haas as a development driver. Maini, mentored by former Formula 1 driver Karun Chandhok signed with the Haas team in 2017 on the weekend of the Spanish Grand Prix. He duly went on to clinch his first GP3 win in the second race of the weekend for Jenzer Motorsport. 'I’m extremely proud to be a part of Haas F1 Team,' Maini said. 'Being involved with an F1 program has really accelerated my learning in terms of what I need to do on the racetrack and with my engineers. 'In fact, it’s already helped me transition from GP3 to F2.
