Hypersofts to make Monaco debut

Pirelli has revealed the tyre compounds to be used in the Monaco Grand Prix in late May, and for the second successive race the new pink hypersoft is to be used. The softest tyre in the Italian manufacturer's 2018 range will make its race debut in Canada, with a number of teams, not least Mercedes, yet to run the compound having shunned it in pre-season testing. As in Canada, the ultrasofts and supersofts will also be used, the former making its fifth appearance of the year and the latter its sixth.
