Gasly on ‘pain in the ass' engine failure

Having lost one of his three penalty-free engines in Australia, Pierre Gasly says it is only a matter of time before he incurs engine penalties. Despite a trouble-free pre-season with new engine partner Honda, Gasly found himself sidelined in Melbourne when his engine failed during Sunday's race. Going out in a plume of smoke, the Frenchman is now down to just two engines before penalties are dished out. 'For sure I'm not going to lie, it's a pain in the ass to have it but that's how it is and everyone will try to just make it as smooth as possible for the next races,' Gasly said.  'I think the regulation is tough for everyone.
