Magnussen secures best-ever qualifying result for Haas

Australian Grand Prix – Kevin Magussen and Romain Grosjean will start the race in Melbourne from the third row of the grid after Haas' best qualifying session to date. The Haas team have their sights set on leaving Australia as the highest ranked midfielders, following their impressive display during qualifying which saw them out-qualify the likes of Renault, McLaren and Force India. Magnussen and Grosjean ended the final qualifying session in sixth and seventh place respectively, which will become fifth and sixth on the grid following Daniel Ricciardo's grid penalty.
