Hamilton: New Mercedes contract will happen

It seems it is only a matter of time before Lewis Hamilton re-signs with Mercedes, but the Brit hopes to have his new contract wrapped up before Melbourne. Hamilton is in talks with the Brackley squad about a new deal that is reportedly worth £40million-a-year. But while the negotiations have been going on for a while now, Hamilton says they are close to being concluded. 'I hope it will happen (before Melbourne),' said the four-time World Champ. 'We have of course got this year to focus on, but it will happen. 'We have been talking and continue to talk. 'It is quite a relaxed atmosphere for us because Mercedes know I am committed to them, and they have expressed they are committed to me....
