2018 F1 Winter Testing Combined Fastest Lap-times

Ferrari may have been fastest in Formula 1 pre-season testing but it is reigning world champions Mercedes who look to be in best shape ahead of the new battle. All facts playing around with tyre choice and fuel loads gave one list – which Mercedes headed, followed by Ferrari, Haas, McLaren and Red Bull. Looking at the pace of the cars when they were doing race-simulation runs gave another – which Mercedes also headed, followed by Ferrari, Red Bull, Haas and Force India. Mercedes did not use the fastest ‘hyper-soft' tyre, and their best times on the ultra-soft and super-soft were slower than Ferrari's. Also, the Silver Arrows’ were very strong in race simulations...
