Mercedes: Red Bull a threat in F1 2018
Mercedes reckons Red Bull could prove to be the reigning world champions’ biggest threat during the 2018 Formula 1 season, according to technical director James Allison. Daniel Ricciardo posted the fastest ever lap around Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya on the second day of the final pre-season test at the Spanish Grand Prix venue, edging out Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton by 0.3s with a 1m18.047s on Pirelli’s fastest hypersoft tyre.
