Barcelona Test Day 5: Vettel shows tops in pace and miles

< ► > Sebastian Vettel was a busy man on Tuesday as he lapped the Circuit de Catalunya more than any other driver, the Ferrari man ending the fifth day of Formula 1 preseason testing fastest of all to cap a good day back to work for the German and his team. Of the 171 laps Vettel's best lap of 1:20.396 was exactly two-tenths quicker than the next best, set on Pirelli medium tyres bolted on to SF71-H. Valtteri Bottas was second on the timing sheets in the Mercedes W09 after his morning stint in the cockpit. Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton took over in the afternoon and ended fourth fastest, the pair combining to rack up 177 laps during the course of the day. Report in...
