‘Heart-stopping’ intensity tests for F1’s halo ‘pretty scary’ – McLaren

All F1 teams have found it difficult to ensure that their cars, with the mandatory halo device fitted, are strong enough to survive new FIA crash tests that include one with a vertical load of 116kN.
