McLaren watching Lewis Hamilton contract talks closely

Zak Brown has openly admitted that McLaren is keeping a close eye on Lewis Hamilton's contract negotiations. Hamilton's contract with Mercedes expires at the end of 2018 and is expected to sign a new deal with the championship winning outfit later this year, however, Brown is always willing to keep his options open. “I don’t think there’s a team in the pitlane that wouldn’t be interested in having Lewis drive for them, us included,' said Brown. 'If anyone got Lewis, it would be great for the team. He has a great history here and he is very friendly with the shareholders.'
