New Masters LMP series joins French GP support bill

The newly-created Masters Endurance Legends series will join Formula 2 and GP3 in supporting Formula 1 at the returning French Grand Prix this June. France has returned to the Formula 1 calendar after a decade-long absence, with Paul Ricard entrusted with hosting duties for the first time since 1990. Masters Endurance Legends will hold two races across the course of the weekend, with the series open to Le Mans Prototype and GT cars built between 1995 and 2012. The MEL double-header round at Paul Ricard adds to the existing calendar compromising Imola, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, the Nürburgring, Spa and Dijon.
