‘Grid Kids’ To Replace ‘Grid Girls’ for 2018 F1

Formula E used so-called grid kids this past weekend in Chile. Formula 1 plans to follow suit for its 2018 season. Formula One replace ‘grid girls' with 'grid kids' for 2018 season, as it continues to try to build a more family-friendly environment for the series and also to attract younger fans. F1’s new owner Liberty Media, the governing body FIA and Formula One Management polarized fans by announcing the ban of grid girls for this coming season and beyond.
