Sky Italia renews Formula 1 deal, gains exclusive rights

Italian broadcaster Sky Italia has renewed its deal to show Formula 1 for the next three years, gaining exclusive rights in the process. As part of the deal, Sky Italia will be showing every Formula 1 race live on the Sky Sports F1 platform. The deal also includes all of the support races live which include Formula 2, GP3 and Porsche Supercup, four races will be shown live which include the Italian Grand Prix on FTA television on the FV8 channel with delayed coverage for the other 17 races on the calendar.
