Formula E signs up ABB as new title sponsor

Formula E has announced a multi-year title sponsorship deal with global technology company ABB. It means that the all-electric championship will henceforth be known as the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. It is the first time an FIA-sanctioned single-seater series has had a title sponsor. The announcement was made on Wednesday by Formula E founder and chief executive Alejandro Agag. He was speaking at the Saatchi Gallery in London, accompanied by ABB CEO Ulrich Spiesshofer.
