Danish Grand Prix plans moving ahead in Copenhagen

According to Danish media, plans for Copenhagen to host the country's first F1 Grand Prix in the near future are progressing nicely. It was reported last September that a Danish consortium had initiated talks with Formula 1's commercial rights holders about staging a race on the streets of the country's capital. Danish politician and race promoter Helge Sander visited the F1 paddock in Abu Dhabi and held further talks with Liberty Media. Carey says Germany is key to his plans for F1 Ekstra Bladet newspaper is now reporting that Formula One's chief executive Chase Carey is planning to travel to Copenhagen next week to meet with the city's mayor Frank Jensen and other key figures....
