Honda disaster hindered McLaren's search for sponsors

McLaren boss Zak Brown admitted that Honda's difficulties seriously complicated his task of bringing on board new commercial sponsors for the team. The Woking-based outfit's dismal three-year partnership with the Japanese manufacturer logically took its toll on McLaren's ability to attract big money to the team. But it's new engine deal with Renault will hopefully turn its fortunes around and subsequently revive McLaren's commercial prospects.
