Steiner: 'Giovinazzi presence not positive for Haas'
Haas boss Guenther Steiner says the US outfit won't be running Antonio Giovinazzi as a third driver in 2018. The Ferrari junior, who subbed for an injured Pascal Wehrlein at Sauber in Australia and China, took part in seven Friday practice sessions this year with Haas. Steiner insisted however that his team would not be repeating the experience next season despite Ferrari's request. "I don't think it helped us or our drivers," the Haas team manager told Ekstra Bladet newspaper. "I cannot say how negative it was, but it was not positive.
