Formula 1 cars to run 360-degree cameras in 2018

Formula 1 will introduce 360-degree cameras in 2018 as part of a drive by the sport's new owners to enhance the viewing experience. The golf ball-sized cameras will be mounted to the chassis (pictured) ahead of the central Halo column, with the footage used during broadcasts and likely online through an as yet unannounced over-the-top (OTT) package which Liberty Media is working on.
