Stroll in frame to join Alonso in Daytona 24 field

Lance Stroll is in the frame to join Formula 1 colleague Fernando Alonso in the field for January's Rolex 24 sports car race at Daytona International Speedway, Crash.net understands. As indicated by sources in Bahrain over the FIA World Endurance Championship season finale, Williams driver Stroll is in line to link up with Jackie Chan DC Racing for his second appearance in the Rolex 24. Stroll made his Daytona debut as a 17-year-old with Ford Chip Ganassi Racing in 2016, finishing fifth overall as part of an all-star line-up including Alexander Wurz, Brendon Hartley and Andy Priaulx.
