Alonso completes first Toyota test
Fernando Alonso completed his first test of a Toyota LMP1 car at the World Endurance Championship's end-of-season rookie test in Bahrain on Sunday. Two-time F1 world champion Alonso racked up 113 laps in the No 8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid, posting a best time of 1:43.013. The test is seen as the first step to Alonso competing in next year's Le Mans 24 Hours as the Spaniard looks to complete motorsport's Triple Crown before he retires.
