Teams load up on ultra-softs for Abu Dhabi GP

Pirelli has confirmed the tyre selections for the final race of the Formula 1 season in Abu Dhabi, with all 20 drivers opting to load up on the ultra-soft compound at Yas Marina. Pirelli announced earlier this year it would be taking its three softest compounds - soft, super-soft and ultra-soft - to Abu Dhabi due to the low-grip, low-degradation nature of the Yas Marina Circuit, mirroring its selection from last year. All drivers have opted to go for a large number of ultra-soft tyres, with most opting to go for no more than four combined sets of softs and super-softs, the latter being likely to be used for the final stint of the race only.
