Ricciardo, Hartley, Gasly hit by Brazil GP grid penalties

Daniel Ricciardo, Brendon Hartley and Pierre Gasly have all been hit with 10-place grid drops for engine penalties ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix. After Renault’s difficult Mexican Grand Prix where four out of six of its engines failed to finish the race, the trio of drivers have had to take an eighth MGU-H unit of the season which incurs a 10-place grid penalty per driver. But further pain was to follow for Hartley who stopped on track with a smoking engine after competing just two laps in FP1 in Brazil.
