Ricciardo admits Brazilian GP grid drop 'likely'

Daniel Ricciardo has conceded a grid penalty for this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix is "likely" after suffering a failure on his Formula 1 power unit at the last race in Mexico, forcing him to retire. Ricciardo took a number of new power elements for the Mexican Grand Prix, only to suffer a failure that forced him to retire early at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and resign him to a second straight retirement. The Red Bull driver thinks he will be forced to drop down the grid once again in Brazil this weekend due to uncertainty about the life of his power unit, although a completely fresh set of elements is unlikely.
