Massa ready to go, hopes Brazil will stay

Felipe Massa hopes his home Brazilian Grand Prix can stay on the Formula One calendar despite a drought of local drivers and uncertainty about the long-term future of the Interlagos circuit. The 36-year-old Williams driver, winner of 11 grands prix with Ferrari and world championship runner-up in 2008, is retiring at the end of the year. His departure ends an unbroken line of Brazilian drivers stretching back nearly four decades and comes at a time when Interlagos, which has a contract to host the race to 2020, is up for sale.
