Hamilton planning Mercedes F1 contract talks 'within a month'
Newly-crowned world champion Lewis Hamilton says he will sit down with his Mercedes Formula 1 team bosses within the next month to discuss extending his contract. Hamilton, whose current deal expires at the end of next season, has previously insisted he plans to extend his stay at the four-time world championship team but was in no rush to finalise an agreement. But after clinching what was his fourth world title and third in four years with Mercedes in Mexico, Hamilton said he now expects to make progress in the coming weeks.
