Gallery: How Ferrari bid farewell to Schumacher 11 years ago
On 29th October 2006 Michael Schumacher was last seen behind the wheels of a Ferrari F1 car at the Ferrari Challenge in Monza. In September of 2006, Schumacher announced that he would be retiring from F1 at the end of the year. A week after the season finale in Brazil, members of the Ferrari team gathered at the legendary Monza race track in Italy to bid farewell to Schumacher. We recall the event with our selection of photos.
