Arrivabene proud of Ferrari's fight to the very end in Mexico

Maurizio Arrivabene paid tribute to his Ferrari Formula 1 team for its fight to the very end of Sunday's Mexican Grand Prix as Sebastian Vettel's championship defeat to Lewis Hamilton was confirmed. Starting the race from pole, Vettel required a top-two finish to stand any chance of keeping his title hopes alive for another race, only for an opening-lap clash with Hamilton to drop both title contenders to the back of the field. Vettel was able to fight his way back up to fourth place by the chequered flag, refusing to give up in his bid to keep the championship alive, but was powerless to stop Hamilton being crowned for a fourth time at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
