A banner year and the title for JB in Brazil
It's been eight years since Jenson Button conquered his world championship title with Brawn GP. It was a banner year for JB who won five races in the Mercedes-powered and dominant BGP001, sealing the title at Interlagos with one race to go. John Button, seen here embracing his son in Brazil, was a pivotal figure in Jenson's life, kick starting the drivers' career in karting and trailing him all the way to the pinnacle of motorsport and beyond. Indeed, Jenson recently revealed that his father's untimely passing in 2014 had taken away much of his love for Formula 1.
