Hill unleashes the FW11 beast!
Damon Hill was back in action with Williams last weekend, taking the team's 1986 championship winning FW11 for a spin around Suzuka. The 1996 world champion manhandled the classic chunky looking Canon liveried beast during a demo run, much to his and the Japanese fans' pleasure. The Honda-powered, car designed by Patrick Head and Frank Dernie, was built to overthrow McLaren from the F1 throne. Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet collected five and four wins respectively during the 1986 season, bringing Williams its third Constructors' title, but both men were unfortunately beaten to the drivers' title by McLaren's Alain Prost.
