Renault F1 announces Sainz arrival for United States GP
Carlos Sainz Jr. will make his Renault Formula 1 debut in the United States Grand Prix later this month after completing an early move up from Toro Rosso following Jolyon Palmer's departure. Palmer confirmed on Saturday evening at Suzuka he would be leaving Renault at the end of the weekend, freeing up a place for Sainz, who had originally been due to make the move across at the end of the season. Renault announced in a release Sainz will contest the final four races of the year in the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Abu Dhabi, opening up a place at Toro Rosso that has been re-claimed by Daniil Kvyat for the remainder of the season.
