Ferrari traces engine failure - Vettel gets new components

Ferrari identified the cause of Sebastian Vettel's engine failure yesterday in qualifying and have subsequently decided to fit new components to the power unit. Vettel's SF70H was fitted with a new engine ahead of qualifying yesterday as a precautionary measure but an issue at the outset of the session prevented the German from setting a time, sending him to the back of the grid. Vettel title hopes hit by engine disaster The Scuderia traced the problem to a broken manifold that fed air from the compressor to the internal combustion unit.
