Stewards take no action over Verstappen-Palmer Malaysia FP3 clash

The FIA race stewards in Malaysia have confirmed that no action will be taken over the clash between Max Verstappen and Jolyon Palmer in the final Formula 1 practice session on Saturday morning. Verstappen and Palmer collided at the final corner in the final minutes of FP3, with both drivers being summoned to see the stewards after the session to explain what happened. On a flying lap, Palmer looked to take a tighter line into the final corner in order to avoid a slow-moving Verstappen, who hung his car out wide and appeared to be entering the pits.
