Pirelli: One-stop quickest Singapore strategy

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has outlined that a one-stop strategy is likely to be the quickest approach for drivers at the Singapore Grand Prix.Pirelli has brought the Ultra Soft, Super Soft and Soft tyres to Marina Bay, and expects an Ultra Soft/Super Soft strategy to prove fastest across the 61-lap race.However, the Safety Car has made an appearance at each Singapore Grand Prix, while degradation levels remain uncertain, prompting Pirelli to propose several strategic options. In theory, the quickest strategy is a one-stop, running Ultra Softs for 19 laps, assuming low degradation, then Super Softs to the flag.Another option, amid lower degradation, would be running Ultra...
