Raikkonen says mistake cost him front row slot
Kimi Raikkonen reckons he could have joined Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel on the front row of the Singapore GP grid if not for a mistake on his final Q3 lap. After a difficult Friday, Vettel turned his fortunes around and beat the Red Bulls to secure pole position for the Maranello squad. Raikkonen finished down in fourth position, over half a second off his teammate's pace. Raikkonen would likely have joined Vettel on the front row without a mistake on his final Q3 lap, and suggested Vettel's result indicates how misleading Friday practice form can be in F1.
