McLaren and Honda confirm split at end of 2017

McLaren Racing and Honda Motor Co have confirmed they will discontinue their partnership for the FIA Formula One World Championship at the end of 2017 by mutual consent. McLaren will continue on with Renault engines, while Honda is set to supply its power units to Scuderia Toro Rosso. The McLaren Honda Formula 1 team will continue to compete for the remainder of the 2017 FIA Formula One Constructors’ and Drivers’ World Championships.
