Sainz Jr. joins Renault for 2018 season

– Renault has confirmed that Carlos Sainz Jr. will race for the team in 2018, alongside Nico Hülkenberg, completing the manufacturer's driver line-up.Sainz Jr. made his Formula 1 debut with Toro Rosso in 2015 and Red Bull had taken up the option in his contract for another year, tying the Spaniard to the Faenza-based squad for 2018.However, an agreement has now been reached, which will see Sainz Jr. compete for Renault in 2018, as part of a loan arrangement with Red Bull."I'm very happy to be joining Renault," said Sainz Jr."To be a Formula 1 driver for a manufacturer team is an honour and I hope to reward Renault's faith in me with my very best performances on...
