Palmer adamant he will see out season
– Jolyon Palmer is adamant that he will complete the remainder of the Formula 1 season in a race seat with Renault, amid reports suggesting Carlos Sainz Jr. could join the manufacturer from the Malaysian Grand Prix.Palmer, in his second season with Renault, has yet to score a point, nor out-qualify team-mate Nico Hülkenberg, and is set to lose his seat at the end of the year.Reports indicated that, as part of the engine negotiations between Renault, McLaren, Honda, Red Bull and Toro Rosso, Sainz Jr. will switch to the French manufacturer, perhaps from the Malaysian Grand Prix.Sainz Jr.'s manager played down such a notion on Thursday in Singapore, and Palmer has rebuffedcomments that...
