Force India reveals unique winged shark fin

Force India has gone radical in its bid to add downforce to its car at the Singapore Grand Prix, with more than 30 mini wings placed on the top of its shark fin cover. With downforce at such a premium around the Marina Bay circuit, Force India’s solution is unprecedented and shows the outfit is not easing off in its efforts, despite its comfortable points position in the constructors’ championship. As its car emerged in the pitlane at the Singapore GP on Thursday, it was spotted with more than 30 winglets situated at the top of its shark fin engine cover. The aim of these will be to help increase load at the rear of the car, as well as better direct airflow to the T-wing and rear wing....
