Bratches: 'Dozens' of venues interested in hosting F1

Formula 1 commercial chief Sean Bratches says there's been overwhelming interest from would-be host venues for future Grand Prix events. “In the seven months I’ve been in this job I’ve probably had about 40 countries, cities, municipalities, principalities approach me about interest in hosting a Formula 1 race," Bratches told Motorsport.com. "Which is extremely encouraging!" Currently, the Formula 1 calendar is capped at 25 races per season. This year, the Formula 1 championship encompasses just 20 races.
