Porsche future inclusion 'highly valued' by Bratches

As Porsche ponders a possible future in F1, commercial boss Sean Bratches says he would welcome the manufacturer back to Grand Prix racing with open arms. Lutz Meschke, Porsche's financial chief met with F1 sporting manager Ross Brawn at Monza last weekend, and confirmed the manufacturer's interest in competing at the pinnacle of motorsport as an engine supplier in the future. Formula 1 is in the process of overhauling its regulation platform and seeks to define the engine of the future, with current plans including a more simplified and less costly unit based on a V6 twin-turbo architecture.
