Haas hands Giovinazzi Singapore F1 practice run-out

Haas has confirmed that Ferrari youngster Antonio Giovinazzi will take part in Formula 1 practice for the Singapore Grand Prix next week to make up for losing his planned run at Monza. 2016 GP2 runner-up Giovinazzi was confirmed to be taking part in seven practice sessions with Haas this year back in May, starting at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Giovinazzi's second run-out was due to come at Monza, only for Haas to change its plan when rain threatened to shorten Friday's practice running, making the team wary of taking more time away from regular driver Kevin Magnussen.
