Haas to give Giovinazzi FP1 run at Marina Bay

– Haas will give Ferrari-backed Antonio Giovinazzi a free practice outing at the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix, after calling off one of his planned runs in Italy.Giovinazzi, runner-up in GP2 in 2016, was initially confirmed for practice appearances in Britain, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil and Abu Dhabi.However, at Monza, amid the threat of rain, Haas opted to prioritise full-time driver Kevin Magnussen.In order to make up for the lost running, Haas will field Giovinazzi during FP1 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, before the usual schedule resumes.Giovinazzi, runner-up in GP2 in 2016, contested the first two rounds of the season with Sauber, in place of the injured...
