Red Bull pair, Sainz Jr. take engine penalties
– Stewards at the Italian Grand Prix have confirmed that Daniel Ricciardo (20 places), Max Verstappen (15 places) and Carlos Sainz Jr. will join Fernando Alonso in taking an engine-related grid drop at Monza.With Renault not expecting to be able to match the performance levels of Mercedes and Ferrari in Italy, the drivers have taken penalties, ostensibly to aid prospects at the next round in Singapore.Ricciardo has a 20-place demotion for taking on a sixth MGU-H (10 places), a fifth Internal Combustion Engine (five places) and a fifth Turbocharger (five places).Red Bull team-mate Verstappen is on a 15-place drop, his first demotion of the year, for taking on a fifth Internal...
