Hamilton chasing new three-year Mercedes deal

With Sebastian Vettel committing his future to Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton is reportedly keen to sign a new three-year contract with Mercedes. Last week Ferrari put an end to rumours that Vettel could be off to Mercedes in 2019 by signing the German to a new three-year deal. And with the German committed to his team, the Mail on Sunday is reporting that Hamilton is now ready to put pen to paper on a new Mercedes deal. 'Lewis Hamilton has asked Mercedes for a new three-year contract, a deal that would tie him to the World Champion team until 2021,' Jonathan McEvoy reports.
