Vandoorne set for 65-place grid penalty after engine change

Stoffel Vandoorne is now up to a 65-place grid penalty for the Belgian Grand Prix, after Honda elected to make another engine change overnight. The local hero had headed into the Spa weekend braced for a 35-place grid penalty as the result of using an upgraded power unit. That penalty increased by a further five on Friday night when McLaren announced that it was also changing his gearbox. But on Saturday morning there was a fresh development, when Honda revealed that it had decided to replace his new power unit already.
