Sauber confirms multi-year Ferrari power unit deal

Sauber has confirmed that it has signed a multi-year agreement to continue its partnership with Ferrari, a day after publicly announcing that it had teminated its proposed Honda relationship. Sauber signed an agreement with Honda earlier in the season to use its power units in 2018, but rumours surfaced that the team was seeking to abort the planned partnership, heightened by the exit of Monisha Kaltenborn as team boss. On Thursday, Sauber confirmed it had split from Honda, and on Friday morning announced that it has renewed its partnership with Ferrari, to use current-year power units.
