Renault: Kubica won't replace Palmer in '17

– Renault chief Cyril Abiteboul says there are no plans to replace Jolyon Palmer with Robert Kubica over the second half of the 2017 season, ahead of the Pole's latest test run.Renault has given Kubica the chance to sample a 2017-spec F1 car at the post-Hungarian Grand Prix test, following a pair of private runs and an appearance at Goodwood in old machinery.Given how quickly the situation has developed, reports have surfaced that Kubica could take Palmer's seat later in the campaign, perhaps as early as Belgium.However, Abiteboul has made clear that Palmer will keep his drive after the summer break, with Kubica's next outing based on a "more medium- to long-term"...
