Lando Norris lands McLaren F1 test outing in Hungary

McLaren junior Lando Norris will drive the team’s 2017 Formula 1 car at the post-Hungarian Grand Prix test. The British racer is currently racing in the European Formula 3 Championship with Carlin, and is third in the standings after scoring three race victories so far during his rookie season. In the previous two seasons, Norris took the British MSA Formula title, before clinching championships in Formula Renault 2.0’s Eurocup and NEC categories, as well as the Toyota Racing Series. He joined McLaren’s young driver programme at the start of 2017, having previously won the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award last year – which entitled him to an F1 test. The second...
