McLaren hands Hungary F1 test shot to F3 star Norris

McLaren junior Lando Norris will drive the team's MCL32 car in Formula 1's in-season testing at the Hungaroring, it has been announced. Norris, 17, has been the part of the Woking team's set-up since the beginning of the year and has already tested a 2011-spec McLaren MP4-26 at Algarve. Now the Briton will make his debut behind the wheel of McLaren's 2017-spec challenger, as he will take over from team regular Stoffel Vandoorne on the second day of the August 1-2 test. McLaren had fielded Oliver Turvey alongside Vandoorne in the preceding in-season F1 test at the Bahrain International Circuit.
